01 / Areas of expertise

Your starting point.

Everyone arrives with a different question. Find the area you would like to discuss.

02 / My approach

Understand first.
Then decide.

My approach begins with an honest conversation: what you would like to change, which options are worth considering and when it may be better not to operate.

01

Listen and assess.

We begin with your concerns and what you would like to change. We review your history, examine the area and take the measurements needed to relate your aims to your anatomy.

02

Explain and decide.

I explain what each option can offer, the scars involved and what recovery would be like. We also discuss what is worth preserving and when waiting or choosing another treatment may be better.

03

Plan and support.

Before surgery, we agree on tests, wound care and follow-up, as well as the help you will need at home. During recovery, we assess how the tissues are healing and when you can return to your activities.

03 / Your surgeon

Meet the person
who will care for you.

I am Luis Martín Suárez, a specialist in Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery, trained through Spain's MIR specialist training programme at Hospital Universitario Central de Asturias.

My work focuses on aesthetic surgery of the breasts, body and face. I look for changes that suit your proportions and how you want to see yourself, respecting the features you wish to keep. In consultation, we take time to understand your concerns, assess your anatomy and decide what surgery could offer in your case.

My training in reconstructive surgery, hand conditions and microsurgery complements this aesthetic approach, with particular attention to tissue care, precision and function.

05 / Before your consultation

Room for
your questions.

Do I need to know which procedure I want?

No. You can come with discomfort, an area that concerns you or an idea of the change you would like. During your consultation, we distinguish what relates to skin, volume or other structures and which options may help. Photographs you like can help us understand your preferences, without becoming a result we need to copy.

What should I bring to my first consultation?

Reports from previous operations, any test results and a list of medicines or supplements you use. If you have implants, bring their card if you still have it. It also helps to think about what you want to improve, which features you would like to keep and which dates affect your work or family care commitments.

Where can I arrange an assessment?

You can book an appointment with me in Madrid or Marbella using the telephone numbers in the contact section. Consultations take place at Clínica Castro Sierra and HC Marbella International Hospital. When planning an operation, we will agree where it will take place and how to arrange follow-up, particularly if you need to travel.

How is the quote prepared?

After assessing your case and defining the procedure, a quote is prepared to match the plan. You can review what it includes for surgery, anaesthesia, the hospital, materials and follow-up, and any items quoted separately. If there are several stages or alternatives, it is helpful to compare them at the same level of detail.

How much recovery time will I need?

This depends on the procedure and your activities: computer work, lifting and looking after a young child involve different demands. Before you decide, we will discuss these details to arrange help and your return to everyday life. Feeling well and having fully healed do not always happen together; reviews let us adjust each step.

How is follow-up arranged?

Before surgery, we will agree on the first wound checks, follow-up appointments and how to contact the team with questions. We will explain which symptoms are common and which changes need assessment. At appointments, we review wounds, swelling and your return to activity; later, we assess how the shape and scars are settling.
